My therapeutic style is authentic and supportive, with an ongoing curiosity and capacity for humor along the way. As much as I am warm and playful in my approach, I am also direct—I will encourage you to challenge yourself in session, as you are the ultimate expert in your life.
The foundation of my approach lies upon compassionate self-awareness. With a therapeutic relationship built upon mutual trust, efficacy, and respect, I will help you become more self-aware of unhealthy thinking and behavioral patterns that may be hindering and preventing you from living your best life.
My goal in session is to create a safe, affirming, and collaborative space for us to honor your identity, values, culture, and unique life experiences. During the course of treatment, I draw from a variety of evidence-based interventions to provide structure, as well as to ensure that your treatment plan best fits your needs. Don’t know what your goals or needs are right now? That’s not a problem! We can work together to understand what is showing up for you in the here and now, and create goals based on what is most important to you.
At the heart of my practice is my belief in my clients' own capacities to discover needed paths towards change and healing. I am honored and humbled each day to do this work and am grateful for the those who are willing to take that step in connecting with me.
